behind with Daily paintings - but finished 50 of a hundred small images made into cards to sell for Emmaus Mossley. I will put them on display today and they will be up for sale at £ 1 each.I do resist painting cards solely for Christmas - you find only the occasional robin or holly. My theory is that if the image is specific to Christmas , you will take it down after the event. If it's an abstract or if it' s a landscape, you will keep it up, if not frame it.
I love doing small, experimental work on paper. I have massively enjoyed the ink ones. It's just drawing ink on wet paper.But wow for me. Can't wait to do the next 50 to go on sale at the Christmas Fair on 13 th December.
